Not Sure Where to Begin?
Book a free private consultation and Akeem will answer every question and recommend the right program for your goals.
Getting Started
The first step is a free private consultation. You will meet with Akeem to discuss your goals, training history, and lifestyle. From there, a personalized program is designed specifically for you. There is no obligation and no pressure.
Your consultation is a focused 45-to-60-minute conversation covering your primary fitness goals, current health status, training history, any limitations or injuries, and scheduling availability. Akeem will walk you through what your personalized program would look like and recommend the package that best fits your life.
No. Bodies By Akeem works with individuals across all experience levels — from complete beginners to seasoned athletes. Every program is built from the ground up around your current ability and long-term objectives.
Yes. The consultation is completely free with no hidden fees, no obligation, and no sales pressure. It is simply an honest conversation to determine whether Bodies By Akeem is the right fit for your goals.
Training Experience
Bodies By Akeem is a fully private performance studio — not a commercial gym. Every session is one client at a time, in a distraction-free environment designed entirely around your progress. You receive undivided coaching attention, a custom program, integrated nutrition guidance, and consistent accountability that commercial gyms cannot offer.
For private one-on-one and executive training, sessions are always one client with Akeem. No shared sessions, no waiting for equipment, and no distractions. Couples and small group sessions are intentionally structured and kept small to maintain quality coaching.
Sessions are structured, purposeful, and efficient. Each workout is drawn from your personalized program — covering the appropriate strength, conditioning, and mobility work for that training day. Akeem coaches every movement, monitors technique, and adjusts intensity in real time based on how you are responding.
Standard sessions are 60 minutes. Executive training sessions are structured around your schedule and can be adjusted for efficiency when travel or demanding workdays require flexibility.
Yes. Every personal training, couples, and small group package includes a personalized nutrition plan designed to complement your training program. Nutrition and training are treated as inseparable components of the same transformation system.

Health & Injury Considerations
In most cases, yes. Akeem holds a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist certification and begins every new client relationship with a movement screening designed to identify limitations, asymmetries, and injury risks. Programs are built to work around limitations while building strength and resilience over time.
If you have a significant medical history, current injury, or chronic health condition, it is always advisable to consult your physician before beginning a new exercise program. Akeem will work collaboratively with any guidance provided by your medical team.
Depending on the nature of the surgery and clearance from your physician, yes. Akeem has experience designing post-rehabilitation programs that rebuild strength, stability, and function in a safe and progressive manner.
Scheduling & Programs
Program frequency is based on your goals, recovery capacity, and schedule. Most clients begin with two or three sessions per week. Akeem will recommend the appropriate frequency during your consultation and adjust as your program evolves.
Life happens. Rescheduling is accommodated with reasonable advance notice. Executive training packages include flexible rescheduling as a built-in feature. Specific policies are discussed during the onboarding process.
Yes. All executive training packages include a virtual coaching option, allowing sessions to transition seamlessly when travel prevents in-person training. This ensures consistency regardless of location.
Most clients begin noticing meaningful changes in strength, energy, and body composition within the first four to six weeks. Visible physical transformation typically becomes pronounced between eight and twelve weeks with consistent training and nutrition adherence. Long-term, sustainable results develop over months and years of intelligent programming.

Nutrition & Lifestyle
Yes. Every personal training, couples, and small group package includes a personalized nutrition plan. Nutrition strategy is treated as an essential component of transformation — not an optional add-on.
Nutrition coaching at Bodies By Akeem is practical and sustainable. It covers macronutrient targets, meal timing, strategic food selection, hydration, and behavioral strategies designed to support adherence. The approach is grounded in metabolic science and tailored to your body, training demands, and lifestyle.
No rigid diet protocol is required. The nutrition strategy is built around your preferences, lifestyle, and metabolic needs. The goal is to build a lasting relationship with food that supports performance, recovery, and long-term health — not short-term restriction.
Programs are designed to evolve with you. If your schedule, goals, or circumstances change, Akeem adjusts the programming accordingly. Consistency and adaptability are priorities — not rigid adherence to a static plan.
Starting a healthy diet is about building a better relationship with your food — and with yourself. It's not a race or a test. It's a series of small, daily choices that add up to meaningful change in how you feel.
Begin with one thing. Maybe today, you add an extra vegetable to your dinner. Tomorrow, you drink one more glass of water. That's how you build habits that last.
You have the power to make these changes. Use this as a reference whenever you need it. You are worth the effort.
Focus on affordable whole foods. Frozen fruits and vegetables are just as nutritious as fresh options and often more cost-effective.
Staples like beans, lentils, eggs, and oats provide excellent nutrition without breaking the budget.
No — your body needs carbohydrates for energy. The key is choosing higher-quality sources like brown rice, whole grains, and whole wheat pasta, while managing portion sizes.
Start by satisfying cravings with natural options like fruit. If you want something richer, choose dark chocolate with a high cocoa content — and keep portions controlled.
Movement supports both your physical health and mental well-being. That said, you can absolutely begin with nutrition first. Even something as simple as a daily walk can support your progress.
Listen to your body. If you're not hungry in the morning, it's okay to wait. However, a balanced breakfast can help regulate appetite and prevent overeating later in the day.
Start by drinking water — sometimes cravings are actually dehydration.
Then ask yourself if you're truly hungry. If you are, choose a whole-food option like air-popped popcorn or a handful of nuts.
Avoid extreme restriction — allowing small portions occasionally helps maintain balance long-term.
