The All Ass No Gas Cycling Club was born from a belief that strength should extend beyond the individual. What began as a community built around fitness grew into a mission rooted in connection, service, and impact.
In Austin, Texas — a city where energy, movement, and community shape the character of everyday life — Akeem Disu has cultivated something that extends far beyond the walls of a private performance studio. Through Bodies By Akeem Strength & Conditioning, he has built a culture defined by discipline, integrity, and genuine human connection. From that foundation emerged a community whose purpose reaches well beyond fitness — a community where strength is measured not by ego, but by impact.
Out on the road, speed is incidental. What matters is the spirit that travels with every mile. Riders pause to laugh together at rest stops, offer encouragement through demanding climbs, and instinctively look back to ensure that no one rides alone. The atmosphere is less about competition and more about presence — a quiet understanding that the character of a team is revealed not by how fast it moves, but by how deeply it cares.
At the heart of the club’s purpose lies its unwavering commitment to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Each season, members dedicate themselves to raising funds and awareness that support critical research, advocacy, and life-changing programs for individuals and families affected by MS.
For many riders, the mission becomes deeply personal. They ride for friends, for family members, and for people they may never meet whose courage in the face of MS inspires them to continue when the road grows long. These stories are shared on quiet stretches of pavement, at finish lines, and around post-ride tables — moments that strengthen the bonds that define the club.
Why We Ride
